What a beautiful Tuesday evening here in Nashville, TN! We decided to try this delicious South African white blend based off of what we read on the bottle, also we love the name and label. Delicious Monster is 60% Chenin Blanc, 20% Muscat and 20% Chardonnay and comes in at ALC 12.5% by VOL. This blend is produced by McGregor Winery, a wonderful winery in South Africa. On the nose we get pear, apple, lemon and melon. When you sip you get a little bit of sweetness but not too much and then followed by citrus and a subtle acidic finish, well balanced. A great spring and summer white wine to sip by itself or with some seafood. We highly recommend this wine for $6.99 at Trader Joe’s.
