CHATEAU ELAN WINES - ROLDEC - ONLINE $55

The Roldec is a Red Wine from Chateau Elan Wines Fingerprint Collection. It is 100% Teroldego and has very low sulfites (it states that on the bottle) which is very reassuring! Smelling this wine, we smell cherries, vanilla, alcohol. After taking a sip, we can taste ripe cherries and strawberries, with blueberries as well. This wine was very fruit driven with medium to high acidity. Complex in flavor! With such a nice finish, that makes you want another sip. This wine paired nicely with our mushroom carbonara pasta we made, with freshly grated Parmesan cheese from Italy aged 20 months.
